I am no 24. I was a cartographic editor in my second job working with Donald Paton. I remember being sent out to Egypt to research a tourist map and went on to work in cartography for GEOprojects and Macmillan Education travelling to many far flung destinations thanks to the experience I picked up at Fairey/Clyde Surveys.
I think this is about 1978/79. I am the 7th from the left in the front row. Is there any chance of getting a copy of this photo. I remember Tony Furneaux. He interviewed me I think. I started as a trainee under John Turner in 1977 along with Jackie Cavell and 4 others. I also remember Basil. He worked with my friends Dad. Pinkney was his surname.
I was Debbie Reeves then
I am no 28 in the picture. Mick Strachan, worked in the large scale section of the drawing office.
Left Clyde Surveys to work for John Browlee & Alan Wilde in Northampton setting up their CAD Dept.
Have now settled in Cornwall and loving it.
