Geoff, we had contact some time ago when I was writing up the flying history of John Fairey. I am also a trustee of the charity Britten-Norman Aircraft Preservation Society which is restoring Islander No. 3 at Bembridge. We have a newsletter for our supporters and would very much like to use your picture of Islander No.4, G-AVKC in an article written by Hugh Townend, the son of Bob Townend who ran Fairey’s Stockport facility and who converted this aircraft to a camera floor/300hp variant for Fairey Surveys.
